Read This method – http://thesecretlifeofpetsonline.com. Max (voiced by Louis CK) is a rescue terrier living a charmed New York City life with his owner Katie (Ellie Kemper), until she decides to bring home Duke (Eric Stonestreet), a mammoth hairy beast of a dog Max sees as a danger to his perfect only child dynamic. That canine battle is a sliver of the anthropomorphic detours this film takes. Parents, even while they’re smirking, may wish the Flushed Pets characters’ rebel-rousing propaganda was threatening and a tad extreme. While meaningful messages aren’t quite as front-and-center in The Secret Life of Pets as they were in, say Zootopia, the picture has clear themes of perseverance and teamwork. The flat of Pops’ owner is the only time, aside from the opening sequence, where the entire Secret Life“ gimmick actually comes to fruition. The Secret Life of Pets additionally has some similarities to two of the year’s animated movies.

And so it goes — the preview that made you laugh earlier this year actually was the high point of it all. The animation is fantastic and you are able to see how much research the cast & crew did on special animal traits and although it is rated a ‘U’, there’s a scene that may affect anyone (big or small) who is wary of snakes.

Take the opening sequence that introduces the creature characters: it’s saturated with gags that hit their marks, including Chloe (Lake Bell), an overweight tabby cat battling with the temptation of a roast chicken in the fridge, and Sweet Pea, a budgie, turning on a fan and a big screen TV to model flying with fighter jets through a canyon.

Things get worse for the pair when they narrowly dodge animal control and meet Snowball, an adorable little bunny (Kevin Hart) – who turns out to be a gritty and uproarious leader of a massive guerrilla gang of former pets bent on revolution against people.

They manage to escape, but become marked for death by the leader, Snowball (Kevin Hart) — a fluffy white bunny with psychotic tendencies. I was waiting for the spot as I find generally in most animated films I’ve previously viewed in the picture that would make me roll my eyes, but it never happened. During a mad sprint to the Brooklyn bridge, Max and Snow Ball decide they need to join forces to free their friends from animal control.

I should have understood what I was in for when Taylor Swift’s Welcome to New York“ began playing at the very start of the movie. The motions of the creature characters are also spot on. A pup circling around before settling into his blanket; dogs deflected by bouncing balls and butterflies; a cat using a mouse . The movie manages to hold an amusement amount that is consistent with its plethora of characters while not reaching anything out of the dog park. Max narrates this story of the time that his owner got a second dog, a large hairball called Duke ( Eric Stonestreet )—and the visual counter between miniature Max and giant Duke offers a Laurel & Hardy appeal that I wish the film played with more.
