NEW YORK – In partnership with Union Square Events, Conrad New York is pleased to announce the appointment of David Brinkman to Executive Chef for Union Square Events at Conrad New York.

This experience under Bocuse allowed Chef Sekihata to work at Michelin star restaurants and hotels all over the world to share his passion, including Maison Troisgros, Chateauneuf, Café Greco (New York), Noga Hilton (Switzerland) and others. After all your hard work in creating the perfect menu, you make sure the kitchen staff properly cooks and presents the food.

Chef DeJuan was most recently the Executive Chef at 95 Cordova in St. Augustine, FL. Prior to that, he served as Executive Chef of The Plantation Room at the Celebration Hotel in Celebration, FL. A graduate of the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago, Chef DeJuan has more than 20 years of culinary experience.

Through collaborations with a diverse portfolio of best in class clients and business partners, USE produces one-of-a-kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences within a variety of cultural, corporate and entertainment venues throughout New York, Chicago and Washington DC.

In his new role, Brinkman will be responsible for expanding the hotel’s catering programming and leading menu development. Brinkman also honed his leadership skills as the executive sous chef at Batard, head chef at Maze restaurant and sous chef at Mandarin Oriental, all located in New York City.

Executive chefs oversee all kitchen staff, food preparation and cooking activities in a facility or for several restaurants in an establishment or chain. Our talented Chef Tom Deptula, prepares a simple coastal cuisine for our restaurant that is open to the public.

They can host dedicated offsite team building activities, or work with a hotel and host breakout sessions during a conference or similar event as well. He developed his passion for French cuisine while working for the Michelin star restaurant La Rive at the Intercontinental (Amstel) Hotel in Amsterdam.

Chef Devon Rhoden has taken his love and passion for the art of food and turned that into a culinary career that has spanned over 20 years. Our team is as savvy in the kitchen as it it as event planning. Steven returned to New Orleans in 2011 as Executive Chef of Ralph Brennan Catering & Events and Heritage Grill Restaurant, where he produced banquet and off premise weddings, social and corporate events up to 1200 guests.
